My Green Leather Suede Shopper Bag

Black and white or a blend of both are the cornerstones of my wardrobe–think a pair of black high-waisted pants and a simple white T-shirt or a pair of black shoes. They're classic, chic, minimal and easy to style in any season. But now and then, I like to introduce a slight touch of colour, especially if it's my favourite, green.

So, when I spotted the green leather suede shopper bag from ZARA, I knew I had to have it! I've learned the hard way that if you spot something you love that fits seamlessly into your wardrobe, you've got to grab it quickly before the out of stock notification appears.

That is because really good things on ZARA sell out faster than you can say, "Jack Robinson", which can be heart-wrenching!

When the bag arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. It looked flatter and more compact than I expected, yet spacious, which made it even more versatile. The suede material feels soft and buttery, and despite being unlined, it still holds its shape beautifully.

The bag features two slim knotted suede cords on either side, adorned with silver and gold tassel hardware tied at the top, helping secure contents. I noticed it accommodated everything when I started filling it with my on-the-go necessities (my phone, sunglasses, power bank, card holder, water bottle, lip balm, hand sanitiser, and even my camera). Everything found a home inside and fit comfortably. When emptied, the bag still maintained its shape.

Overall, this green shopper bag has turned out to be a chic yet practical option for daily commuting, running errands, or casual weekend outings. It works well with my neutral wardrobe and adds the perfect hint of colour without overpowering my look. I'm pleased with this purchase, and it has quickly become one of my everyday bags.
