When it comes to fragrance, I have quite an eclectic taste. Whether it's woody, fruity, herbal, or earthy, I like them all. For instance, the other day, I sprayed the Born to Stand Out Gold Juice on a tester strip at Harrods, and it smelled so good, rich, fruity, tropical, with notes of mango. That said, here's what I'm currently rotating on my vanity ☺️

Ffern Winter 26 

The Ffern Winter 26 is a recent discovery, and I shared my experience about it a few posts ago. Fern is known for niche fragrances, releasing seasonal scents four times a year, as well as for its artistry and storytelling. Made with over fifteen ingredients, it smells and feels fresh, herbal and crisp, with a long-lasting scent. It’s a combination of lemon, cardamom, mimosa, lavender, and sandalwood. It's a scent I reach for in the evenings and post-shower.

Dior Miss Dior Original Eau de Toilette 

I got this nine months ago, and I'm quite sentimental about it. The scent reminds me of my mom's bag ☺️ or her vanity growing up–watching her get ready, her beauty products and scents on the table, the general scent of the room. I'm reminded of that moment when I open her bag, and the lingering floral and feminine scents hit my nose and stay with me all day. The Dior Miss Dior Original Eau de Toilette is a classic to me; it's refined and elegant, and I wear it both day and night. It lingers on my skin for at least four hours.

Fun fact: it is the first fragrance by Christian Dior, and it also comes in a smaller, more concentrated 15ml bottle known as Miss Dior Extrait de Parfum Original.

Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia

I was gifted the Gucci Bloom & Flora Miniature Set by a friend, which introduced me to the Gucci Bloom and Flora scent lines. Both smell playful, soft, floral, and sweet. The Gorgeous Gardenia Intense is a more concentrated version of the original, but it still feels fresh, floral and woody. On the first spray, it is citrusy and sharp, then softens to a creamy sweet note. It lasts about 3 to 4 hours, and I wear it every day.

AKT Deodorant Balm

I've been using it for slightly over three months now, and I can say it's really good. I got both the starter set and the discovery set. I chose The Onsen because it's described as citrusy, earthy, and floral. I detected hints of lavender and cedar, and the scent feels light and fresh without being overpowering. It's aluminium-free, vegan and suitable for all genders. Considering it's a balm, I squeeze a pea-sized amount and apply onto my underarm. A couple of things I've noticed: mine leaked a little oil over time, so keep yours upright and store it somewhere cool. Also, if you don't shave before applying, it will leave white residue on your clothes.
