The Best Toiletry Bag for Makeup and Travel: An Étoile Collective Case Review

I've recently been rethinking how I arrange my toiletries when I travel and looking for a better way to keep them organised. Typically, I keep them in separate bags, which usually consist of my makeup (including the brushes), body care, dental, hair and skincare products. But lately, I've been looking for a more convenient way to store my toiletries in one place that doesn't involve multiple ziploc bags or wash bags. I knew I wanted something that could hold my toiletries together, yet easy to access (especially my makeup brushes), without compromising aesthetics.

Essentially, I wanted the bag to be spacious, have a removable or adjustable insert, a dedicated section for my brushes, and a material that's easy to clean. And many toiletry cases I found were missing one or two of these features or didn't have enough room for brushes, until I came across the Etoile Collective Toiletry Case on Revolve.

It felt like a Eureka moment for me because it checked all the boxes! Their collection comes in various colourways, multiple sizes, with a removable insert for custom organisation, an elastic layer to hold my brushes in place, spacious and tall enough for additional items, a stain-proof finish, and is made from vegan leather. I found it both functional and chic, and honestly, what's not to love? 😊

Initially, I had my eye on the mini vanity case, but I ended up purchasing the oval toiletry case in espresso instead, and I do not regret it. I love the pebbled texture, the fact that it comes with an adjustable, detachable strap, and the gold hardware details give it extra pizazz.

If the oval case isn't quite your style, don't worry - there are a few other great alternatives to the Étoile Collective toiletry cases worth checking out, and I've rounded them up below:
