Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Besides the fact that I like to try out different natural hair products to find out what works best for my hair and what doesn’t, I have always wanted to try out the Camille Rose Naturals Collection. Camille Rose founder-Janelle Stephens, started out nine years ago in her kitchen, trying to develop solutions for her children’s chronic eczema.
Now, Camille Rose is more than just a hair care brand with products ranging from Camille Rose Face, Camille Rose Spa and Camille Rose Home. You can find out more here.

I decided to get the following:

  • Algae Renew Deep Conditioning Mask
  • Almond Jai Twisting Butter
  • Aloe Whipped Butter gel
  • Coconut Water Leave-in Detangling Hair Treatment (which is from the Coconut Water Collection) and
  • The Curl Love Moistiure Milk.

The Algae Renew Deep Conditioning Mask

As the name suggest, it contains blue green algae which prevents hair breakage and mango butter that locks in moisture. It is also rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that promotes growth.

I apply the product generously on my hair after washing it and cover it with a conditioning cap and leave it on for at least 35 minutes then I rinse it off with cold water. my hair feels moisturised and almost soft after.

The Aloe Whipped Butter Gel

I like this butter gel because it contains aloe vera, almond extract and macadamia oil which promotes hair growth, prevents hair breakage, and retain moisture. It is also rich in vitamin C and it offers antioxidant protection.

I use it when I want to do a wash n go, or twist out or when I want to add moisture to my hair.

The Almond Jai Twisting Butter

This product is considered a holy grail to many naturals, especially those who love twist outs. Like the Aloe Whipped Butter Gel, it contains almond extract and aloe vera which promotes hair growth and retains mositure. It also contains honey which leaves hair feeling soft and smooth. I prefer the smell of this product to the Aloe Whipped Butter Gel.

The Curl Love Moisture Milk

One of the many reasons I love using this product is because it makes detangling my hair easy and elongates my hair. Another reason is because it contains rice milk which is rich in Vitamin A, D and B12.
