I have always wanted to try out Camille Rose Products, and I tried the Signature Collection. Please continue reading to find out my thoughts on it.
Aside from trying out different natural hair products to see what works best for my hair, I have always wanted to try the Camille Rose Naturals Collection. Camille Rose founder Janelle Stephens started nine years ago in her kitchen, trying to develop solutions for her children’s chronic eczema.
Camille Rose is more than just a hair care brand with products ranging from Camille Rose Face, Camille Rose Spa and Camille Rose Home.
I decided to get the following:
As the name suggests, it contains blue-green algae, which prevents hair breakage and mango butter that locks in moisture. It is also rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that promote growth.
I apply the product generously to my hair after washing it, cover it with a conditioning cap, leave it on for at least 35 minutes, and then rinse it with cold water. My hair feels moisturised and almost soft after.
I like this butter gel because it contains aloe vera, almond extract and macadamia oil which promotes hair growth, prevents hair breakage, and retains moisture. It is also rich in vitamin C, and it offers antioxidant protection.
I use it when I want to do a wash-n-go, twist-out or when I want to add moisture to my hair.
This product is considered a holy grail to many naturals, especially those who love twist-outs. Like the Aloe Whipped Butter Gel, it contains almond extract and aloe vera, promoting hair growth and retaining moisture. It also has honey which leaves hair feeling soft and smooth. I prefer the smell of this product to the Aloe Whipped Butter Gel.
I use this product mainly for twist-outs.
One of the many reasons I love using this product is that it makes detangling my hair manageable and elongates it. Another reason is that it contains rice milk which is rich in Vitamin A, D and B12.
I use this product with the Almond Jai twisting butter for styling twist-outs. I also mix some of it with water (in a different bottle) to keep my moisturised daily.
This leave-in conditioner is from the coconut water collection. It contains coconut water, flaxseed oil, and grapeseed oil, among others. It leaves my hair super moisturised
I use this product in multiple ways; sometimes, to refresh and add moisture to my hair when it is dry, and other times, I use it as a co-wash.
