My Current Go-to Makeup Products for a Natural Everyday Look

Hi, hi everyone! 👋🏾 I hope your week is going well. I don't consider myself a makeup expert. Still, I enjoy experimenting with different products and finding what works for a natural everyday makeup look.

Fortunately, there are tons of products that cater to different skin tones, undertones, and skin types, and there's truly something for every budget.

Although I don't wear makeup every day, there are a few beginner-friendly, easy everyday makeup products I always reach for. So, let’s dive in!

NARS Radiance Primer (My Everyday Base)

I fell in love with NARS products about two years ago, and since then, the NARS Radiance Primer with SPF 35 has become my go-to. I love that it contains SPF and is lightweight and oil-free. I also like the pearly pink tint; sometimes, I wear it alone as a moisturiser. Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation with SPF 15 for a Natural Finish

Similar to the NARS primer, I wanted a lightweight, buildable foundation for everyday wear. I wanted something lightweight, buildable, oil-free, with SPF. So, on a visit to Boots, I consulted with the Bobbi Brown beauty advisor, who recommended the Skin Foundation SPF 15, in the shade of Golden Almond. I love how one to two pumps go a long way—it blends effortlessly into my skin, even out the hyperpigmentation around my cheeks, and lasts for up to eight hours.

By Terry Lash-Expert Twist Brush Mascara for Length and Volume

If I had to choose just one makeup item to live with, it would definitely be mascara. It's a product I can't live without and always repurchase, regardless of the brand. I am currently using the By Terry Lash–Expert Twist Brush Mascara in black. What I love most about it is how you can achieve both length and volume by simply twisting the brush handle. It's a versatile, all-in-one mascara and so so practical for an everyday makeup routine.

Westman Atelier Bonne Brow Defining Pencil for Soft, Defined Brows

Another essential makeup product in my bag is my brow pencil. I like the Westman Atelier Bonne Brow Pencil, particularly because it has a retractable angled tip and a detachable spoolie, which makes shaping and defining my brows so much easier.

Gucci Rouge À Lèvres Matte Lipstick for a Pop of Colour

Even on minimal-makeup days, I reach for either a hydrating lip balm or a matte lippy. Right now, I'm loving the Rouge À Lèvres Matte Lipstick from Gucci in the shade "They met in Argentina". It's an ultra-pigmented, moisturising matte lipstick with a velvety, buttery finish that's long-lasting. It's my go-to for a pop of colour! I also rounded up my favourite hydrating lip balms here.

Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder for a Smooth Finish

The Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder is another holy grail in my collection and is worth the rave! It is finely milled and blends into the skin without looking powdery. I dab it under my eyes to prevent creasing and all over my face to set my makeup, and the result is a natural, flawless finish.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray  

Finally, the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray is another staple in my makeup bag. It is my last step for locking everything in place. It keeps my makeup fresh for hours and works beautifully with every product I've mentioned above.
